This is a clone of RC123 (concentrica x hyb B RLF #18 x Orthophytum burle-marxii (yellow)) by Ray Coleman. Who wouldn't love this brightly colored, big beautiful Neo? Now, about the name. You'll notice that we list it as a Neoregelia, not an xNeophytum. Ray insists that the pollen parent was an Orthophytum burle-marxii, but it's obvious that the cross did not take. It is possible that the pollen of the Orthophytum stimulated the Neo into setting seed and that this plant may be a triploid, due to it's proportions. Anyway it is a nice plant, large and beautiful, dark green with white margins and an overall pink veneer.
