This beautiful plant that we obtained in Brazil is a selection of a cross (Neo. carolinae x cruenta) Variegated that was made in Rio de Janeiro by Rafael DeFaria. A beautifully variegated plant to over 30 inches wide with an open rosette shape of 3 inch wide, stiff, glossy bronze-green leaves with some lighter green mottling, ending in red tips. The variegation consists of cream-white stripes of random width that blush pink to red in moderate to strong light. The cup flushes glossy red at anthesis for a distance of eight inches or so. Has a high tolerance for sun.
