A medium sized species from the Caatinga of Bahia, Brazil, growing to about 30 inches across. The inflorescence is about 3 foot tall, light orange with long branches, each bearing a cluster of green flowers at the end. Very unusual. The leaves are yellow-green with yellow variegation and large blotches of purplish-brown, stronger in sub adult plants and may fade completely at maturity. Very rare in cultivation.
