This is an interesting cross of (‘Brittle Star’ F2 x estevesii) x estevesii by our own Ray Lemieux. The most successful of his attempts to recreate the distichous growth pattern of Dyckia estevesii. As you can see by the photos, he has had quite good success. In fact, the plants strongly resemble estevesii in all aspects. Not all plants from the grex have shown the distichous habit, for example; ‘Milky Way’ is from this grex and does not.
