A smaller growing species from Minas Gerais, Brazil. A rarely seen plant with narrow, stiff leaves, green with small, soft, pale-white marginal spines. A short spike bears orange flowers. Our plants came from the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens collection with the accession number of SEL1995-0187, it was collected by Harry Luther in Minas Gerais, Brazil near Serra do Cabral in the vicinity of Joaquim Felicio on an expedition with Leme, Benzing and Nahoum.
