A hybrid by Kelly Griffin (?) that came out with characteristics of both parents. The plants started out with the distichous growth pattern well known in D. estevesii, but has somewhat grown out of this growth pattern. The leaves are stiff, broad at the base, tapering to a point, bronzy-green on top with a silver wash, and solid silver below. The marginal spines are substantial and recurved. The inflorescence is tall, branched and have orange flowers.
