Wide lanceolate leaves, over 2-inches, are marginated green and pink, overlaid with dark-green marmoration, and suffused with a grey dusting of trichomes with some slight indistinct barring. An immature plant will be more pink, and as it matures reaching anthesis becomes more dark-pink to rose in color. A mature well grown plant can reach between 18 and 22-inches in diameter. Medium dense lineated scurf covers the undersides of the leaves.
