A full plant that carries up to ten leaves that can reach four feet long, each with very broad leaflets about 3 inches across, lime green with a glaucous, waxy coating. The result is a bluish plant, very full and graceful. Native to only southern Mexico, it lives in rainforest at low altitudes, from swampy conditions to sheer rock cliffs. Easy to cultivate in shade and warmth, even indoors.
