A remarkable clone of this spectacular species from Peru. Usually green to reddish with abundant silver banding and spotting with yellow and large black marginal spines. It grows to three feet tall or more in a robust, flaring tubular shape.
The pendant inflorescence is massive and spectacular, with broad rose-red bracts and whitish ovaries with greenish, coiled petals, typical of all helicoid Billbergias – collected by Grant Groves in Central San Ramon, Peru.
