‘Giant’ is a relative term.  For a species that usually runs under 6 inches tall, the 8 to 12 inch plants are giants.  Bottle shaped plants with narrow, light green leaves that bear an impression or ‘thumb print’ near the neck of the plant.  A slight reddish blush colors the center leaves at anthesis and the inflorescence has pinkish bracts with lavender flowers.
