This is the reverse of the cross that produced the famous and beautiful ‘Blue Tango’. In fact, you can see quite a bit of ‘family resemblance’. This is similar in many ways but differs mainly in that the inflorescence is not held fully erect and the blue color is not as intense. Actually this cross has been made both ways many times, but only once did it produce a plant as beautiful as ‘Blue Tango’. Anyway, this is a large and vigorous plant that is suitable for landscape in warm climates or as a container plant anywhere. Prefers partial shade.
