A bigeneric hybrid of Dyckia macedoi x Deuterocohnia meziana that first occurred as an accidental hybrid in the collection of Paul Hutchinson, Escondido, CA. Clone #2 differs from the ‘regular’ form in that it has a larger bloom spike that is branched and drooping. The foliage is a different shade of purple/silver as well. A nice, easy to grow, sun loving plant.

Great rare-to-find plant

I had been looking for an x Dyckcohnia 'Conrad Morton' for the last 2 years, since losing one that I had received from a friend. Tropiflora's crew helped me to obtain a lovely offset of this particular clone, which is similar to the one I lost...excellent customer service and plant quality. The plant itself is really striking, a silvery base with a beautiful wash of purple coloring. Really unique and a great addition to any terrestrial bromeliad collection.
