This beauty is a selection of two outstanding clones of the species crossed by Herb Hill to make a really exceptional clone. A relatively small growing epiphyte from Brazil’s wet Atlantic Forest the cross seems to be more robust and larger than most from nature, reaching over 20 inches tall and wide with 1.5 inch wide, discolor leaves. The long pendant inflorescence hangs down to 40 inches or more and has distichously arranged flowers in a ladder-like arrangement. The scape is reddish orange and the floral bracts are reddish orange tipped in yellow, with yellow flowers. A very showy plant when in bloom that excels in a hanging pot. Easily forms clusters that bloom simultaneously creating a spectacular show.
