A beautifully variegated sport of Neo. Scarlet Charlotte resulting from tissue culture. This sport as well as the original plant is the work of Grant Groves, a well-known hybridizer and nurseryman from Orlando, Florida. The plant takes on a blush of pinkish-red in a blotchy pattern, over green leaves, especially from the tips inward. At anthesis it becomes almost entirely red. The variegation seems to be mainly concentrated on the margins, with a few other stray stripes.
