A very attractive plant that came from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil's southernmost state. Resembling a Dyckia fosteriana, it forms very leafy 8 inch rosettes of narrow, very silvery leaves with large, well spaced marginal spines. We have grown this plant for many years and still do not have a name. It is quite possible that this plant has been named, but if so, we are not aware of it.
