A really dark-leaved hybrid of unknown parentage or origin. We have grown this plant for many years, having received the plant from our late friend Milt Cobin, a former botanist in Puerto Rico. The plant forms an upright, spreading rosette to about 16 inches tall, with wide, fairly soft leaves about 1 inches wide colored deep purplish-burgundy. The inflorescence is a panicle of orange berries.
