This robust, compact, self-heading variety is an excellent plant for a hanging pot or basket with its large glossy leaves. The new foliage starts out cinnamon colored then darkens to chestnut, eventually fading slowly to chestnut tinted green over several months to maturity.
At all times there are leaves in different stages of different colors giving this plant a remarkably colorful look. Overall the plant has a reddish cast at all times, more so than green. Good in landscapes for zone ten and small plants excel in terrariums.
