A beautifully decorative, variegated clone of a sedge native to Honshu Island, Japan. A tufted or mounded cluster of narrow leaves that are bright, creamy white with green margins. There are many clones and this one has superior qualities such as holding variegation and resisting spotting. The leaves are many, under a quarter inch wide and about 14 to 16 inches long. It thrives in partial shade in moist but well drained soil and is evergreen in southern latitudes.
