This is an outstanding fern that is native in the New World and Old World and is considered endangered in much of its North American range. Our plants, of course, are produced in a laboratory. This beauty has glossy, strap-like, petiolate, fronds with wavy margins, and forms a compact rosette. It is very cold hardy and can be grown outdoors in shade. It prefers a rich, moist, alkaline soil. We do not know how it will do in a terrarium situation, but it sure has ‘the look’ and is well worth a try.
