An epiphytic 'basket fern' occuring in India, across S.E. Asia and Malaysia. Easily grown in pots or baskets, in nature it is most often an epiphyte, ringing the trunks of trees or on rock outcrops and rarely on the ground. The fronds are soft and nicely lobed, widening at the base to form a 'leaf like' appearance and this area will eventually become dry and papery. A basket-like appearance is created by the dried frond bases. Very attractive.
