Tillandsia araujei 'Bronze'
113
A caulescent species from Brazil with short, recurving, green leaves on a long stem. The white flowers are borne on a six inch scape with red bracts. Forms nice cascading clumps. The ‘Bronze Form’ is a looser, more open form with softer leaves than typical araujei. The leaves take on a bronzy tint in strong light but it will take any light exposure you have. Easy to grow and to flower, mount on wood or hang from a string to form nice clusters.

Tillandsia bulbosa Giant Red Form
777
This large growing form comes mainly from Belize. It has a bulbous base, green all over, shaped like an egg, with twisted wiry leaves. Bizarre. The inflorescence is branched and brilliant red, and the whole top of the plant blushes red too when it is in bloom. Easy to grow mounted in a bright spot, out of full sun. Enjoys frequent watering and feeding for best results. This giant form may reach 10 to 14 inches tall or more with a base up to 5 inches long and two inches thick.
