This Ed Edmiston hybrid is a cultivar of argyrophyllus x 'Diverse Pink' maturing to an extra large, open round rosette to 24 inches in diameter which flattens at flowering. The broad, 2 inches wide, somewhat rounded, oblanceolate, frosted dark red leaves are mottled black in spaced horizontal cross-banding. The foliage reverse is heavily scurfed silvery grey. The reverse cross is Cryptanthus 'Maleficent' also by Ed.
