A albomarginated clone of Aechmea nidularioides. The best form of this beautiful Amazonian species. A wide spreading rosette of green and white albo-marginated leaves to about 30 inches across, with a large cone-shaped inflorescence of red bracts, tipped in white. One of the most spectacular species of Aechmea. Native to the Amazon forests where it is rarely in full sun, so this species does best in partial shade. Also is quite cold tender due to its warm native habitat.
