This is an interesting caudex-forming species from Madagascar, with thickly succulent leaves with strongly undulating margins.  The plants are spreading but somewhat upright with half inch wide gray scarred trunks, resembling a miniature bonsai tree.  Native to the windswept terrace of Cap St. Marie in southern Madagascar it is a very attractive species in a weird sense.

Wind Swept Look

Review Plant arrived in great condition. Unique and attractive miniature Madagascan species with many horizontal silver grey branches coming from a basal caudex. The branches carry deep emerald green leaves with undulate edges and cup-shaped pink-green flowers. Looks great in our sunny rock garden!
