This plant is a yet to be determined species from Bolivia with exact locality data missing. Our plant came to us from the Marie Selby Botanical Garden with their accession number of SEL2007-0250, as collected in 1990 by G.K. Brown & C.A. Palaci. It superficially resembles a much smaller clone of Deuterocohnia longipetala but is stoloniferous.

Like D. longipetala, it has yellow flowers on a perennial bloom spike. A nice small species forming rosettes about 4 or 5 inches across, silvery with moderate marginal spines. Cultivate as with D. longipetala in a well-draining mix, bright light to full sun and water when dry.

The plants we are offering will have their leaf tips trimmed.
