This is an Agave-like plant, but with mostly un-armed leaves which are arranged in a low-growing open rosette to about 10 to 12 inches or so. The foliage is grayish-green with large, irregular purple spots and is quite attractive. The inflorescence is very tall, with a few short branches clustered near the top, and very large white to pinkish, fragrant flowers. It will bloom in a 6-inch pot but will produce a much larger inflorescence in a 10-inch pot or in the ground.
