A neat, extra fat plant with thick, triangular leaves that are light green with a pattern of broken, deep green lines. Kind of reminds one of a watermelon. We got this plant from Doug Dedicos who grew it from seed of unknown parentage, though he believes retusa was in the mix.

A miniature, clustering species to barely over an inch in size, native to rocky, open plains in South Africa where it survives under sparse shrubs. As with many Haworthias, does not do well in full sun, but rather needs some relief from mid day sun. Light to medium green leaves will blush to almost deep brownish purple in strong light or 'hard' growing conditions. Nice for dish gardens or even terrariums.
