BROMELIADS
Neoregelia 'Pemiento'
809
This outstanding Skotak hybrid is a cultivar of [(carolinae x concentrica) x ‘Royal Burgundy’] x ‘Royal Burgundy’. A red hot beauty with a reddish-burgundy overall color and darker medio-picta variegation. The variegation blushes a vivid, even brilliant red, giving the plant a glowing look. Beautiful, a must-have for your collection.
Absolutely great selection of plants, good and loving advice on the care for all the plants that are for sale. Thank you!
Neoregelia 'Gespacho'

A lovely plant introduced by Bullis some years ago but without breeder or cross information. It may be a cultivar of chlorosticta x ‘Fireball’; but it is not known for sure. A smaller grower to about 12 inches across, with multi-colored leaves that are blotched, banded and speckled with shades of yellow and green over a red background. With maturity the center develops whitish blotches on the leaves and in the center. A choice, colorful plant that is a favorite of hybridizers.

Neoregelia 'Guacamole' (P)
8753
A colorful, upright growing hybrid of unreported parentage. A smallish plant to only about ten inches across with leaves of 1.25 inches wide in an upright rosette. Brightly colored red with chartreuse spots and bands over fully 50% of the plant. Leaves have a thick texture and are quite stiff. Although we do not know the parentage, it looks to us like it may have ‘Hannibal Lector’ in its background.
Neoregelia 'Cotton Candy'

One of Grant Groves’ famous neon-Neos, noted for high coloration in relatively low light. This one is vivid light pink over more than half the leaf surface. The leaves have a soft texture with small spines. Best color in bright, indirect light, definitely not suited for direct sun.
I received my Cotton Candy today. It was very carefully and perfectly packaged by Tropiflora so that it arrived in perfect condition! I opened it and all I can say is WOW!. A real beauty of a plant and a great addition to my plant family!!!! Thank you, Tropiflora!
I could not be more pleased with the whole process of ordering plants online and having them shipped. The plants were lovingly wrapped and arrived in perfect condition. I can’t imagine healthier plants. I think they piced plants better than I would have selected! I can’t be more pleased and my wife loves her early Christmas gift!

Neoregelia ‘Hannibal Lecter‘ An unusual, very decorative hybrid from Chester Skotak, with a name that reflects his famed, warped wit. Three clones exist, all selections of a grex resulting from the cross of Neo. punctatissima x carcharodon ‘Tiger’. In general, the plants are medium sized, to about 24 inches across, very stiff leaved with stout spines, and boldly banded with reddish-brown over green.

Neoregelia 'High Intensity'
9443
A medium size hybrid from Chester Skotak maxing out at 18 inches across. As the plant matures it develops a hot magenta pink veneer. With the leaf edges being a cream color, the veneer becomes more intense. This plant looks like it could be the reverse of Neo. Backstabber.
I recently visited Tropiflora Nursery in Sarasota Fl. There were so many beautiful Bromeliads to choose from! One of the ones I purchased was a Neoregelia “High Intensity”. The vivid color caught my eye immediately. It looks gorgeous mounted to my palm tree!
Neoregelia 'Green Eyes'

This is a new 2012 release by Bullis Bromeliads with unreported parentage. Not to be confused with the other registered hybrid by that name of Neo. sarmentosa by Williams. This new plant is a compact shaped, wide leaved plant with deep reddish burgundy color and green spots, bars and small blotches throughout. Claimed by the breeder to be suitable for full sun to full shade, it is surely a lovely plant.
