This beauty is a wild collected sport of Alcantarea extensa found in nature by Rafael Oliveira, Pedro Nahoum and Chester Skotak in Espirito Santo. Normally glaucous green with some slight banding of trichomes, this cultivar has bold creamy-white margins. The plant is a giant grower to about five feet across and nearly three feet tall. Unlike some species it produces offsets after blooming! The offsets are consistently albomarginated like the parent, a very stable kind of variegation.
