The name means 'head of Medusa'.
It has silvery, twisty leaves and a bulbous base. The nice

A lovely and rather large plant
to 12in, with long, strappy, soft greenish-gray to
red-blushing leaves. When in bloom it has a capitate head
and an overall blush of peach with lots of blue flowers.

Tillandsia fasciculata 'Hondurensis'
This fine form is a
rock-dweller in nature. Thick, silver leaves which curve
inward, form a graceful vase shape when mature. The
inflorescence is yellow and red. Very nice species. Large

One of the best caulescent
Tillandsias. Short green/gray leaves resemble a sprig of
pine are topped by a bright red flower. Forms large

Tillandsia hondurensis
A cliff dwelling species from
the high badlands of Honduras grows in a somewhat caulescent
rosette with wide silvery leaves that blush pinkish when in
bloom. The inflorescence is capitate on a short scape,
peach-colored with blue flowers. Nice and not common.
